Humanoid's downstream trainer team returned to Africa in September 2023 to continue supporting competence development for new operation technicians at a national refinery company in Chad. This deployment marked another chapter in Humanoid's long-standing commitment to building local operational capability in the region.
The training programme focused on equipping newly recruited Chadian operation technicians with the foundational knowledge and practical skills required for safe and efficient refinery operations. Topics covered included process fundamentals, equipment operation, safety procedures, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
The programme was designed with a blend of classroom learning and hands-on practical sessions, adapted to the local context and operational requirements of the refinery. Trainers worked closely with local supervisors to ensure knowledge transfer was relevant and immediately applicable to day-to-day operations.
Humanoid is honoured to continue its role in helping develop local capability for the energy sector in Chad, contributing to the country's vision of building a self-sufficient workforce for its refinery operations.
