APOGCE Jakarta Indonesia 2023
Humanoid participated in the Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition (APOGCE) held in Jakarta, Indonesia in October 2023. The event brought together industry professionals from across the region to discuss the latest developments in oil and gas operations, technology, and workforce development.
Humanoid supported PETRONAS in presenting a success story on competence development and international certification for two critical frontline roles: Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) and Production / Maintenance Supervisor (PSMS). The presentation highlighted the journey from initial programme design through to successful Pearson BTEC certification, including the challenges of implementing competence assurance in a large-scale operational environment.
The audience showed strong interest in the structured competence framework and its measurable impact on operational safety and efficiency. Several delegates expressed interest in exploring similar programmes for their own organisations.
This participation reaffirmed Humanoid's position as a trusted partner in competence development for the energy industry across the Asia Pacific region.
